The hotel is situated amidst parkland right by the river Danube, with a view of Pöstlingberg. It is within a short walking distance from the historic centre of Linz with its main square, baroque buildings and narrow streets. The so-called "Art &Culture Mile" starts directly at the hotel, leading to the convention centre and concert hall "Brucknerhaus" and the Lentos Museum of modern art.
