The 19th century Vecchio Pozzo (old well) that is built into the structure of Arcobaleno Hotel offers guests a unique dining opportunity. The well, which was dug out of the villa's stone granaries, has been expertly converted to allow private business breakfasts, romantic dinners and special meetings, all in a magical setting. The old brick silo that was originally constructed to collect water has been converted into three rooms, each on a separate level and each with its own comfortable round table. These dining areas are accessible by a charming winding stairway that allows exploration of the entire depth of the well. Reservations are required for dinner in the well. In the summer, guests can dine outside, overlooking the Sienese Hills. The restaurant is open every day of the week except Sunday. The restaurant's speciality dish is 'Pici al Cartoccio', a first course with a meat and cream sauce, spinach, paprika and ricotta cheese.
